What MailDesk does

The email you already have, without the tab-switching. Each person connects their own mailbox — Gmail or Zoho with an app password, or any IMAP server — and runs it here in full: read, reply, reply-all, forward with the attachments intact, search the folder from the server’s own index, drafts saved to your provider’s Drafts, attachments both ways, Cc and Bcc, select-many and move or clear in one go. Nothing is copied: every folder and every message is fetched live from your provider at the moment you look, so what this screen says is what your mail server says. The app password is sealed with the same envelope that protects every other key on the platform, and it is never shown back — not to you, not to support. And when the same letter must reach up to two hundred people — referrers, a camp list — Send-to-many posts it as you, one message at a time, slowly on purpose, with a progress bar and a named reason for every failure. Deleting moves mail to your provider’s own Trash; disconnecting erases the sealed password on the spot.

How you actually use it

  1. Make an app passwordIn Gmail or Zoho, create an app password — the screen walks you through where. Your real password never leaves your provider.
  2. ConnectPaste the app password. The mailbox is checked on the spot — a wrong code is refused before anything is saved.
  3. Read and answer hereYour folders, your mail, live. Reply, forward attachments to your own machine, delete to your provider’s Trash — it is your mailbox, in the same place as the rest of the day.

What it reads

your own mailbox, live from your provider — never anyone else’s

What it writes

mail you send (through your own account)send-to-many batches — who got it, who didn’t, and whythe connection record
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It never stores your messages — mail stays with your provider and this screen is a window onto it. It never shows your mailbox to another person: each account is sealed to the person who connected it. And it never asks for your real account password — only an app password you can revoke from your provider at any time.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.

Questions clinics ask

What data does MailDesk read and write?

MailDesk reads your own mailbox, live from your provider — never anyone else’s and writes mail you send (through your own account), send-to-many batches — who got it, who didn’t, and why, the connection record. Its data class is PHI-lite. Every app works on the same patient record — nothing is copied into a silo.

What does MailDesk deliberately not do?

It never stores your messages — mail stays with your provider and this screen is a window onto it. It never shows your mailbox to another person: each account is sealed to the person who connected it. And it never asks for your real account password — only an app password you can revoke from your provider at any time.

What happens to our data if we uninstall MailDesk?

The mail screen goes away and every sealed password is useless — the seal is bound to the account that made it. Your mail was never here to begin with.
