Job Title: Clinical Implementation Specialist

Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training

Overview

The Clinical Implementation Specialist is a key position within the Medappz team and is responsible for project planning, customization, and implementation of new practice management systems and/or electronic health records systems. The CIS will deliver a full suite of electronic medical record solutions to the provider community throughout the United States and will require extensive travel.

Specific Duties

  • Assist practices in implementing electronic solutions, such as practice management, billing, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Develop clinical workflows and process improvement recommendations.
  • Customize software based on established practice needs.
  • Conduct go-live training at customer locations.
  • Mentor new Clinical Implementation Specialists.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train end users on the functionality of medical software.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.

Job Title: Billing Implementation Specialist *

Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training

Overview

The Billing Implementation Specialist is responsible for implementing the MedAppz iBill electronic billing software to the provider community. This position provides assistance in the training and support of internal staff as well as assistance with design and testing of the MedAppz billing and practice management software.

Specific Duties

  • Implement the MedAppz billing software through web based training sessions.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites for training, troubleshooting or problem solving.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Assist with the design and development of software.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a medical billing office or medical billing software.
  • Knowledge of medical accounts receivables; billing, follow up and collections.
  • Knowledge of medical claim forms; HCFA1500 and UB92.
  • Knowledge of medical coding; ICD-9, CPT-4 and modifiers.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to understand and communicate technical information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train end users on the functionality of medical software.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.

Job Title: Technical/Customer Support Specialist

Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training

Overview

This is an entry level, full time, permanent position working directly with our customers by telephone and the Internet to diagnosis and troubleshoot basic to moderate software and hardware support issues. Communicate difficult software issue to advanced support staff for resolution. Testing of software and documenting results as well as training customers on use of software is required.

Job Title: Telemarketing Business Development

Reports To: Sales Manager

Overview

Responsible for calling into doctor's offices and clinics to speak with the office manager and/or doctor to set an appointment for our salespeople to give an online product demonstration.

Specific Duties

  • Call pre-qualified prospects to set appointments for salespeople to give online demonstrations
  • Input results of call into client database
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings until 7pm

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Basic computer skills
  • One year experience in telemarketing

Job Title: Transcription QA Specialist

Reports To: Transcription Manager

Overview

The Transcription QA Specialist is an integral part of the MedAppz team and is responsible for managing voice files, monitoring status reports, performing quality assurance on completed dictations, and ensuring timely completion of notes. The Transcription QA Specialist will assist the Transcription Manager with communications between the providers and the transcriptionists.

Specific Duties

  • Manage voice files by assuring sure that all files have been accounted for, are assigned to a transcriptionist, and are completed.
  • Perform quality assurance on completed notes.
  • Ensure that all files are being transcribed in a timely manner (24-48 hours).
  • Monitor physician specified preferences of placement of completed notes.
  • Maintain open communication with Transcription Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.

Required Skills

  • Medical transcription background.
  • Excellent medical terminology.
  • Experience working within a clinical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to learn MedAppz software.
